      On this interactive site students have to make a whole cookie using different fractional parts.

      Outstanding - The student will find equivalent fractions with space Captain Nick Nack. This site requires sound and is worth the trip! Best for grade level 4 and up.

      Interactive site which allows students to manipulate fraction bars to help develop a understanding of fractions.  This site also includes description, teacher lesson plans, guidelins and instructions on how to use this applet.
    4. Fresh Baked Fractions - Representation and Uses of Numbers (IV.2.E.1)
      This interactive site allows children to choose from three levels of difficulty. In the lowest level of difficulty, students need to be able to identify equivalent fractions. It is ideal for upper elementary. This is a student activity.
    5. Identify Fractions with Circles - Representation and Uses of Numbers (IV.2.E.1&3)
      Interactive site which allows students to identify and rename fractions along with adding, subtracting and so on. Grades 2 and up.

      Interactive site which allows students to manipulate interger bars to help develop a understanding of basic math concepts.  This site also includes description, teacher lesson plans, guidelines and instructions on how to use this applet.

      This interactive game asks the students to identify how much pizza is left. Grade level 2 and up.

      This site provides a lesson plan for teachers. It also provides user friendly interactive activities in which the student explores whole decimal numbers and place values. Grades 3 and up.

      Play a "Connect-Four" style game, earning a game piece each time you answer an arithmetic question correctly. This game asks the players to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers and integers. Choose difficulty level, question types, and time limit.

      Students will count equal groups to find the total product. They many also make their own groups for counting. Skip counting and addition may be used. Grades 3 and up.

      The student will order random numbers from least to greatest or vice versa. Grade level appropriate, 2nd and up.

    1. BBC - KS2 ReviseWise - Maths - Representation and Uses of Numbers (IV.2.E.4)
      An interactive site for upper elementary students that presents and reviews estimation strategies.  Students can read a fact sheet that gives examples of each strategy, interact with an activity, practice the skills using a printable worksheet, and take a test.  As a bonus, they can also test their estimation skills using an oral activity (requires pc speakers or headphones).
    2. Estimating - Representation and Uses of Numbers (IV.2.E.4)
      The student will select two numbers from a given collection of numbers to be rounded and then added. The activity may be timed and scored if desired. Grade level 3 and up.
