Dear Parents and Guardians of Bay City Public School Students,
Happy Spring to all of you! Recently, a common calendar was established for all school districts within the Bay-Arenac Intermediate School District for winter and spring vacations for the next five years. Please note the following:
Year Winter Break Spring Break Good Friday/ Easter 2008-09 Dec. 20, 2008 - Jan. 4, 2009 Mar. 28 to Apr. 5, 2009 Apr. 10, 2009 2009-10 Dec. 19, 2009 – Jan. 3, 2010 Mar. 27 – Apr. 4, 2010 April 2, 2010 2010-11 Dec. 22, 2010 – Jan. 2, 2011 Mar. 26 – Apr. 3, 2011 Apr. 22, 2011 2011-12 Dec. 22, 2011 – Jan. 2, 2012 Mar. 31 – Apr. 8, 2012 Apr. 6, 2012 2012-13 Dec. 22, 2012 – Jan. 2, 2013 Mar. 29 – Apr. 7, 2013 Mar. 29, 2013
By the end of April we will begin our “end of the school year” activities across the district, particularly because we are concluding our school year a bit early this year. Thank you for understanding our need to have a full three months for school facility work related to our bond. We are on budget and on time – by the end of this great project in 2009, we’ll be a “new” district.
