Dear Parents and Guardians of Bay City Public School Students,

March brings our annual district science fair – hope you and your family can make time to stop at the Delta College Planetarium on March 8 and 9 to enjoy the students’ projects around the theme, “Let’s Nurture Nature.”

This month our high school juniors will take the ACT/MME exam, an important time for our students. It is anticipated that the results of our Fall MEAP scores for students in grades three to eight will be released in the near future and we will look forward to sharing student results.

Three of our long-time administrators are retiring this school year – Mr. Jeff Rogers at Mackensen, Mr. Oren Lusher at Western High School and Mr. Jay Crane, Director of Special Education. We will begin our search to replace these fine administrators who have served the students in Bay City with such tremendous dedication.

Spring vacation begins as we conclude March and when we return, we’ll look for the return of sunny days and much more learning!
